Environment painting

Today was an amazing day with Jack Eaves. He taught me a lot and finally after years of embarrassment I created a painting I'm not ashamed of.

It could be a lot better of course especially composition and perspective wise but I'm really happy with the result.

One Sheet

I finally redid my one sheet. I knew I was going to change a lot during the phase of creating my game, That's why I didn't spend too much time on my first one sheet. I am really bad with writing stories but I gave my best. I hope you like it !

Gameplay

Today I had a weird experience of my game not opening so I got a bit paranoid.I made a game play video just to be sure if the technology decides to hate me once again. Sadly there is no sound and quallity isn't that good.

Fish animation

Finally done with it. I'm not really satisfied with it but next time I'll do better.

Zombie

I forgot to submit one of our halloween's tasks.

We had to edit textures and turn our girl model into a zombie. It was really fun but I should have made her use scarier and make her less human like.

Life Drawings

Life drawing is one of really fun classes at UCA. We got so many chances to experiment with different techniques and it's fun too see what we can do with them. Sadly I've missed few sessions due to my illness and pain in my hand but If it got to worse I usually just drew with my non dominant hand. These are my favourite drawings I've made in our sessions.
This was a simple drawing of our model.
These two were one of the most fun tasks in our all sessions. We were supposed to draw with a continuous line, meaning we had to draw everything without removing charcoal.

These are samples of our warm up sketches. I always found it fun how you can capture a gesture within 5 minutes.
A bit worse quallity, but we were supposed to draw with a pencil. It is really hard to controll your lines on such a big paper.
Drawing without the lines, adding value only. I learned that it's really hard to make it look right (especially the feet).
Halloween week was really enjoyable as well as turning Berry into a zombie.
Ink... That really was the worst session. Brushes hate me and I don't really like them either. I struggled a lot and in the end I managed to make something that looks okayish.
This session was really unique. We had to draw our model and after few minutes switch our places with the person on our right and fix their drawing. In the end hardly anyone recognized their original drawings.
And the last, our hardest session. It was the week we were learning about perspective. The grid was really hard to draw and we had to pay attention to our models proportions as well.

I really like life drawing and it helps me a lot with my own drawings.I definitely need to work on legs and feet. I usually draw them way too big.

Temple Renders

Hi,

I'm quite happy with the results, since this is one of my first models I ever did without a tutorial or teachers help. There's a lot of things that could look better but oh well, I hope you like it as well.

Temple process

I've been working on my temple. Here are process screenshots

Game Completed

I'm finally done ! I did a lot this week and it's finally done. These are some things I've made :

I made a text appear and change when u enter the trigger;

Added a fence;
Made a roof;

Door is now finally locked and can be open when you obtain the key.
I modeled more props

Added collectable orbs
Added a roof and created holes so you can look at the starry sky
Redid the whole last  room and remodeled the key
After you get the key all the other lights go off and the only light you're left with is your light in your hands
And created a text after you completed your level.

All I'm left with now is redoing my one sheet (which is almost done) and storyboard.

Anatomy : Skeleton

This weeks assignment was about skeletons. We had to learn the names of the important bones and figure out how they work.

The first part of the task was to find a lot of resources. I mainly used a book called "Artistic anatomy and the human figure in motion" and the Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist  by Stephen Rogers Peck. My moodboard:

I know that skeletons are something I will be comming back to so I tried not to overwhelm myself with too many different bones. I mainly focused on the most important ones and tried remembering them

The third part of the assignment was to draw a skeleton from 3 different views. I made a version marking only the important bones and another version of joints connecting those bones together.

There's still a lot that I have to learn about skeletons so I will do more of these in the future. I think that one of my biggest problems is the proportions between all parts which makes it look like it's deformed.

Flickering lights

I managed to get my code work without anyone's help so I'm really happy ! I made my lights flicker and added a flickering sound.

I also worked on my big hall. It has 3D sounds now and more lights. The reason why there are red cubes is that I'm trying to make my characters antlers visible.
